You know your an Nsync fan right. I can remeber their first concert I went to in 1998, at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City. I had nosebleed seats. Nsync was my first boy band concert of the 90’s. Now you ask me which song was my favorite of their, it’s still “I want you back”. I take this song as the guy lost his girlfriend and he wants her back. Always wondering if I would be one of Nsync’s girlfriends. They also have a song titled “Girlfriend. Nope, but that is ok with me. I feel the most boring part of their 98 tour was all the songs of the decades. I’m like I just want to hear Nsync songs, and not them singing other peoples songs. I also remember, now this takes you back when a photographer would take photos of the band. They then would send you a few photos to choose from to order a photo. Yes I sitll have mine, and it’s in my collection.
Here are some Nsync facts you might not know about.
- The band’s debut single,“I want you back” was released in Germany in 1996, which was a year before their debut album dropped there.
- Initial sales of the album were sluggish; it wasn’t till after the exposure they got from their Disney Channel special, “NSYNC Live In Concert,” aired in July 1998, that sales of the album picked up. I still remember seeing this on the Disney Channel.
- Lance Bass dated teen idol Boy Meets World‘s Danielle Fishel from 1999–2000. Were you a fan of this 90’s teen show?
- The debate begins for all your Nsync and Backstreet Boys fans. No Strings Attached being NYSNC’s most successful album, it has sold fewer copies than Backstreet’s 1999 album Millennium, which has sold around 12.2 million copies. How many copies did you buy?
- Wade Robson, also was in the video for “Pop,” as Joey Fatone (who had injured his leg) in the long-shot dancing sequences. I never knew this did you?
- Joey Fatone and Lance Bass were the first boy band members to star in a feature-length film. The two co-starred in the Lance-produced 2001 film On the Line.
- Justin Timberlake thought JC Chasez had the best voice in the group.
- Joey Fatone was the first member of NSYNC to find out that Lance is gay. He told the rest of the band a few months later.
- Songwriter Andreas Carlsson, who co-wrote “Bye Bye Bye,” also co-wrote Backstreet’s “I Want It That Way.” Very interesting fact.
- “It’s Gonna Be Me” or what most people say it’s gonna be may, is the only NSYNC single to have hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
